Gina Joy Carano was a mixed martial arts athlete, an actress and a fitness model. She was crowned the "face of women's MMA when she began her professional career with Muay Thai. She is a Muay Thai competitor who has a track record of 12 victories, 1 draw and a loss. It's the first American to ever win a Muay Thai title in Thailand. In her youth, she was involved in jazztap, ballet, gymnastics and horseback riding. Her school saw her perform well in volleyball softball basketball. Jiujitsu as well as wrestling are other skills she is taught. Seven wins and one loss comprise her MMA experience. The strength and skill she displays when in the ring, along with her affable personality and her beautiful appearance has made her an incredibly popular MMA star. As an actress she has been in blockbuster films in Hollywood like Haywire and Fast & Furious 6'. Many critics said that she was dependent on her sexual appeal to further her career. This criticism were not a hindrance to her determination of winning and her fans continue to lavish her with affection. A lot of people are inspired by her talent, character and determination.
