Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on 28 October 1967 at Atlanta. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father was keen interest from a young age in the theater. While attending Emory University in 1952 he participated in plays on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. He joined the Air Force in 1953. While stationed in Biloxi Mississippi was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was an air force member as well. They got married in 1955. Their first baby son Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. In 1957, the couple left the Air Force and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. The family relocated in 1960 to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the children's local Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies the show they had funded. They later founded The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) and Julia (also named Julie) at the time.
