Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 Aviano Italy) American actress, most well-known for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams was the youngest of seven siblings that grew up as a child in Castle Rock, Colorado. She was born while her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. She began dancing and acting professionally in the mid-1990s with Boulder Dinner Theatre, and then at the Country Dinner Playhouse. When she moved to Minnesota and appearing in a mock-documentary film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) which focused on beauty contests. Her debut as a screen actress was an attractive, bright-eyed contestant. After that the move to Los Angeles in order to explore a career as an actress. Between June 1951 and September 22, 1962 she got married to actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by actor Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and began her career in film during the latter half of 1940s. Through the 1960s, she appeared in popular films such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as well as Living It Up.
