April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th of July. She began guitar and piano lessons at age seven. She was interested in creating songs was sparked. at the age of 12, April came up with her first original song Different. At the age of 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing songs and honed her musical abilities. In the following months, she started taking writing trips together with her dad on trips to LA in addition to NY. April also began incorporating other relevant topics into the"Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure problems and suicides among teenagers. Lockhart is an influencer in the beauty and lifestyle industry with a growing following. She works with popular brand Ilia with whom she has a partnership in addition to being an expert in the field of lifestyle. Lockhart was born with no left hand, and it's part of who she is--but this isn't the whole truth. Lockhart does not deny that she has a disability on Instagram, but she does not make it the main focus of her story. What message is it sending? that we are all a part of a multitude and that we are all unique and that we're much beyond our physical bodies. Lockhart speaks through video from Nashville. "I do not intend to let it define my life. I'm not looking to be merely identified as a specialist in disability. This doesn't influence my day-to-day activities. I carry on my business as usual and have found different ways of adapting. However, I also consider it a very important component of my life. Lockhart encourages us to keep going with self-acceptance. Still, she admits that she went through phases in her life with her physique, feeling uncomfortable in certain situations wearing outfits that showcased the arms of her. The woman now puts on whatever clothes she wants and posts pictures on Facebook with pride. The key to self-love for her is that it's not a destination. It's a long journey. I'm not sure you'll ever get there. I believe having friends with you who know you and see your feelings is crucial because they'll be the people who will remind you what you worrying about?
